A Day at Francis Ford Coppola Pools and Cabines
I can honestly say Francis Ford Coppola Pool and Cabines is one of the most relaxing places I’ve been to in a LONG time. The property itself is immaculate and deserves a trip, even if just to walk around the winery. We made the visit to the pool and cabins during our time in Calistoga, which is just a short drive to Geyserville where the winery is located. Located just off the freeway, a large arching sign welcomes visitors to the Coppola property. Up the drive is an estate that plays host to both the pool area, winery, and bocce ball courts.

A grand dueling staircase acts as the focal point of the estate and guides those seeking wine and fun to their check-in point. After chatting with the associate we were handed our cabin key, pool towels, and two mini-champagnes to enjoy poolside. The cool thing about the pool area is the ability to reserve cabins and lounge chairs. They also have a grassy area close to the pool that is open to guest! The cabins are perfect for stashing bags and also have a shower to use post-swim, which is perfect if you plan on staying in the area to do some other tastings.
After changing into our suits, we located our pool chairs and promptly ordered a cocktail! We barely waited 5 minutes before a waiter came to bring us water and take our drink orders - talk about great service! The pool area is family friendly and we noticed quite a few people taking advantage of the hot day to take a dip. That being said, even with a large crowd everyone seemed to be courteous and there wasn’t any crazy splashing or screaming from the little ones.
After basking in the sun for a few hours and ordering a little lunch we decided to head inside to the winery. The tasting room is located just to the left of the pool area making it super convenient to enjoy or try a glass of Coppola wine!
Thank you to the Francis Ford Coppola team for making this trip possible, we will most certainly be back for another visit!
