I love a good just back from the beach look, but since I'm not always on the sunny shores, why not recreate the look at home. To get this natural beach wave look you'll need the following:

Your Tool Kit:

2 Hair ties

Texture spray ( Fekkai Marine Summer Hair)

1-inch Curling Iron

Blow Dryer (optional)

How to:

For long lasting waves start this look with damp hair. Create a center part and divide hair evenly. Braid each side and secure at the end with a hair band. Let hair air dry, or use a blow-dryer to speed up the process.

Once hair is dry remove hair ties and run your fingers through your hair to loosen up the waves. Spray texture spray evenly over hair; scrunching ends with hands to build texture.

Use a 1" curling iron to wave and add volume to hair, starting right above the ears. Continue to wrap hair onto the iron, stopping about a 1/2" before the end of your hair.

Repeat until most sections of hair have been lightly curled and resemble loose waves. This is supposed to be a causal look so creating the perfect curl is not necessary.

Finish with a light-hold hair spray.

xoxo,

Birdie
