It’s officially the first day of summer which means more time for outdoor entertaining! Coming from an extended latin family I'm certainly no stranger to impromptu family gatherings. As the years have past, I've grown from attending these get togethers to hosting them. This season I'm mixing up different cocktails that incorporate seasonal ingredients and pair well with light bites. To celebrate the arrival of summer I’ve teamed up with Sutter Home to upgrade the wine spritzer

The wine spritzer, although delicious doesn’t conger up nearly as much excitement as a new exotic cocktail would. To get the best of both worlds I’ve whipped up a batch of what I like to call the, ‘summer ginger spritz’. This blend of Sauvignon Blanc, lime, and ginger beer adds a spark that will have guest coming back for refills.

I’ve been purchasing Sutter Home for years, and find it is always throughly enjoyed by my guests. In the 65-years that they have been making wine they’ve  won countless awards, and have continued to prove the quality wine can be affordable!
