Just because you don't have a significant other doesn't mean you should stay away from the holiday. In fact, I think it's the perfect excuse to indulge or treat yourself with something special. There really isn't anything like being young and single, go out with your girls, stop by a local bakery for something sweet or even spurge on a new blouse!
