After my last Etsy post seen {here}, I decided to share some of my favorite Etsy Stores! Each one offers different handmade products from art to jewelry theres something for everyone :).
Lash-tastic Mascara Review
One of the few things I always find myself switching up in my beauty routine is my mascara. I love trying out new formulas, brands and brushes and tend to keep a few on-hand for different occasions. My lashes are already pretty dark naturally, so I stick to dark black mascaras. Each mascara packs a different brush applicator, all which promise different results, such as length, volume or even both!
Jack Daniels Inspired Party Invitations & Decor
I've been a fan of Etsy for as long as I can remember, but for some reason when it came time for party planning I never took advantage of it. However, when my parents mentioned that they were going to throw a surprise party I knew I had to step in.
I enjoy parties..but I love theme parties! There's just something about going-all out on the decor that really makes the event a sight to see. When it came time for picking out ideas, we came up with a "Jack Daniels" theme. {It being the favored beverage of choice to the surprise guest}
I had seen some beautiful invitations done, and was surprised to see the incredibly expensive price tag that went along with them. Don't get me wrong I can appreciate that a lot of work goes into handmade cards, but still. Anyways, when I came across handmade announcement and card designer Pixelstopaper I couldn't believe the quality and incredibly reasonable pricing!

In addition to creating cards, Pixelstopaper designs menus signs and even stationary! Our order of invitations, food & drinks cards and stickers came neatly packaged and sealed, just waiting to be set up! Everyone who received an invitation commented on how clever and well designed the cards looked!

Ever since Ms. Jolie's infamous leg bearing, side cut maxis have been popping up all over the place. Although not as drastic as the thigh slit she rocked on the red carpet, these breezy numbers are perfect pairing pieces for summer.

I'm officially in full summer mode! I saw this Vix bikini while at a Swim Shop in downtown Capitola, the colors and print reminded me of Missoni. I spotted the Neon Leopard 2-piece at Target! I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was, you just can't go wrong shopping there!!
DIY Invitations
From time to time I like to get a little crafty, with an up-coming event I decided to put together a few invitations for my guest. I was going to order some off of Etsy, but couldn't find ones that really suited the occasion.
I headed over to Michael's Craft Store and picked up a few things to jazz-up the basic card stock I already had. I couldn't be happier with the results, and best of all they were waay easy to make!

Weekend Photo Journal 5/6
This weekend seemed to fly by, even though I ended up keeping things pretty low key. I spend my afternoon catching up on piling up magazines, working on my tan and getting some work done for this week. I'm off to spend a few days with my best to celebrate her graduation & wait for it.. Engagement!
Broccoli Chicken & Rice Pilaf
Over the weekend, I was in somewhat of a food-funk, you know a time when you can't think of anything to make. After watching the clock tick well into dinner time I racked my brain for anything that I could whip up within 50 minuets or so. I've been a long time fan of broccoli beef, so I thought why not throw some pre-made shredded chicken into the mix.

Fashion Friday 5/4
It's been a few weeks since I've done a fashion friday post! These are just some of the new items I've been mixing into my Spring/Summer Wardrobe. The shorts were a major find and both were on sale. The J.Crew Chinos always have the perfect fit, and the comfort level is great.
