Last Weekend in January

This past weekend I attended a close family friends baby shower. It's been quite awhile since I had been to one since most of my friends have only just graduated college last year. The shower was absolutely adorable, they did a fabulous job decorating and creating the perfect occasion to welcome in the new baby girl!

Fallene Wells Stiches Together New Clothing Line

I had the pleasure of doing a write up for First Class Fashionista about Project Runway Contestant Fallene  Wells. To check out my entire article click here.

The gist of the article is about Fallene's partnership with Colorado manufacturing company CoSewn. The two are collaborating a fundraising effort to build CoSewn and launch the designers Spring 2012 collection.

All of Fallene's designs and pieces in her collection are both feminine and tailored. I love how she took inspiration from the 20's to inspire her pieces. To check out more of the interview with FCF and take a sneak peek into Fallene's home design office watch the video below!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

D.I.Y Tassel Earrings

tassel inspiration

I was faced with a little dilemma when I couldn't find earrings to go with the outfit for New Years Eve. With quite the time crutch I took to the favorite {D.I.Yer's} for help. I looked through a few and adapted my own with the materials I had on hand.

{Continue for D.I.Y}

December Favorites

A lil' on the late side...but here they are :)
December Favorites

1. Sobe Lifewater: A continued favorite of mine that I have yet to mention is the Sobe Lifewater. I prefer the 0-zero calorie kind;  this drink has continued to be my go to  beverage for after-running hydration. For some reason I tend to gravitate towards sweeter tasting energy waters and this one is both delicious & nutritious ;)

2. Boi-ing Benefit Concealer: Purchased on a whim, because I needed a new concealer. I had heard mixed reviewed on the Benefit Erase Paste concealer and decided to give this one a try. I love that the product can create build-able coverage and doesn't leave you looking like you've 'caked' it on! {And their 'fair/light color is perfect for winter}

3. BB Dakota Could've Woodland Cape: Previously mentioned {here}, I found this for an amazing deal and couldn't pass it up! Prior to buying I was on the hunt for the perfect cape for winter and I'm glad I went with this one. It's nice and thick and keeps me warm on the chiller days.
4. Warby Parker Glasses: I tried out the 5-day trial through their company, the program is awesome! It allows you to pick 5 different frames to try on at home for 5 days! This allows you to find the best fit, oh and did I mention it's free? I ended up choosing the pair Thatcher in the color whiskey tortoise, which I hope arrive soon!

5. Nike+ Air Pegasus: I have to say when it comes to running shoes, I usually have the worst luck. I am very prone to shin-splints and end up not having enough support in my arch. Although I wasn't digging the "shape-up" like sole, running with these guys on are like supportive little pillows. They are probably one of the most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned! I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a supportive shoe!
