November Faves

November Favs

1. New Subscriptions: Every once and awhile i'll switch up my current magazine circulation by subscribing to a new publication. I've always been a fan of the glossy pages of W, but surprisingly had never ordered. Well that changed, and I couldn't be happier that I did. I enjoy the mix of contemporary art and fashion.

2. Jilly Hair Bands: We all know how annoying it is try and find a hair tie. I am not a fan of trying to keep track of them in an oversized bag or letting it cut off the circulation of my wrist. I had seen these hair ties on friends before and instantly feel in love. Not only do they come in a variety of colors but they can be worn around the wrist with jewelry. The Jilly bands come in a set of four fun colors and resemble a tied off ribbon.

3. Mini Sofia Champagne: Can you say packaging is everything? How adorable are these mini-sized champagne cans? Now I know a few of you may be thinking.. champagne in a can.. how good could it possibly be? Well I have to admit I purchased the product 100% before trying just because of the packaging {after sipping} it turns out that these little guys are quite delicious! Each package comes with 4 mini-sized champagne cans {along with a straw} and make very cute..very delicious gift :)

4. Martha Stewart Glitter:  For the woman who manufactures everything from crafts to baking supplies to dog accessories, she sure does get it right! I swear every time I go into Michael's I find myself lusting over the gorgeous array of colors and textures of her loose glitter! They can be a little pricey but when the Holidays come around they sure do come in handy!

5. Nikon J1: Finally a new camera! After my SLR & point and shoot pooped out on me I was determined to find a camera that combined the best of both worlds. Not only is it small and compact but it also uses Nikon lenses!

6. Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo: This was actually a product I tried out in a sample and ended up loving! Even though I'm used to using shampoos that lather, I enjoyed this amino acid alternative. My hair ended up feeling healthy and was very shiny after use.

Runner's High

There's honestly nothing like it, it really reconfirms why I am so happy to get back into running. Today I not only beat my best 5k by shaving three minutes off my time, but I also hit 200 miles on my Nike+ app! I can't wait to keep training to see how far I will go the next two months! Half Marathon here I come!

Thanksgiving Leftovers

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of lot of yummy food and surrounded by the ones you love! It's crazy to think the holiday season is already among us.  I can't wait to decorate, fill the house with the wafting aromas of sweets, and blare old holiday tunes until our hearts context!

Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to say that I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

Gobble Gobble,

Currently Loving: Orange&Navy

The leaves are changing here in beautiful California and starting to grace us with their gorgeous warm hues. I love when you can find inspiration in the simple things around you {case in point: Fall}. I'm loving the pairing of burnt orange and a deep rich navy. I think they compliment each other quite well giving an overall feeling of a contemporary classic.

Happy Tuesday

I die for the Kardashian Sisters closets!

This week I have been in search of ways to transform my closet into something that is both inspiring and well organized. We all know how much fun it is to take a sneak peek into the closets of some of the most stylish fashionista! The Kardashian sisters all have very distinct styles and it is very apparent in the way they organize their closets.

Well Ain't That the Truth

I've been a fan of Someecards since I saw them on emerge on Facebook awhile back. They are some of the funniest saying that reflect some of what is on everyones mind. I don't know who thinks these things up, but sometimes I think they're reading my mind. If you haven't checked out the site by now, give it a whirl and I promise you wont leave without a laugh {or two}.

Here are some of my {appropriate} favorites...

Family Style Chicken Pot Pie

The chill of the cooler weather brings out the warmth of classic comfort foods. Chicken pot pie is one my favorites, not only because of the delicious aromas that waft through the house but because it can be shared in a family-style meal with the ones you love.
